Meet The Teacher

Hi, my name is Mercedes Kartchner and I love teaching music! I grew up playing the violin, and over the years I've picked up the piano, guitar, and ukulele. I studied music at Utah Valley University, and received a Masters in Music Education from Arizona State University. I have operated a private studio for over 10 years, and also spent a few years teaching in elementary schools. My goal is to help everyone I teach to fall in love with music the way I have. My husband and I live in Fort Collins with our two boys and love being close to the mountains.This is my first year teaching Presto and I am so excited!

Presto Classes will be taught in my home, and I am located in the same neighbordhood as Traverse Park in Fort Collins.
